Why are we Living a Life of Sorry
Stop Saying Sorry
Sorry I'm late. Sorry to bother you. Sorry, can I just ask...
At some point, sorry stopped being an apology and became a way of shrinking ourselves. Of taking up less space. Of asking permission to exist.
And here's the thing — most of the time, you have nothing to be sorry for.
Over-apologising is exhausting. It keeps you small, it undermines how others see you, and over time it shapes how you see yourself.
You are allowed to have needs. You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to speak without prefacing it with an apology.
Save sorry for when it genuinely counts. The rest of the time — just speak.
